Located at the Western end of Hokkaido, Niseko Hirafu receives dumps of snow from the Siberian desert storm systems that march across the Sea of Japan from Russia with amazing regularity from November to March. If you are after Powder then Niseko is the place to head averaging over 14+ metres of annual snowfall ! Your lift pass gives you access to Hirafu’s 3 areas – Alpen, Kogen and Hanazono. It is also possible to purchase an upgrade to an all mountain pass which covers Higashiyama and Annapuri too.
