Dominated by Europe’s highest mountain, the impressive Mont Blanc, Chamonix is one of the World’s most famous resorts. One of the three resorts in the impressive Trois Vallees, the largest ski area in the World, Courchevel is the most prestigious of the interconnected resorts. Renowned for its immaculately groomed slopes, which are often frequented by the international jet set, this is a relatively up market resort destination. Expert skiers will find challenging on and off piste skiing and the beginner or intermediate skier won’t be disappointed with the variety of accessible terrain.
Courchevel town provides a sophisticated atmosphere and whilst it can be expensive, there is a range of bars and restaurants that will suit all tastes and budgets. Excellent variety, great runs, sophisticated.

Meribel has a unique blend of charm and tradition with state of the art, modern skiing facilities. Part of the Trois Vallees, your ski pass enables you to ski in the neighbouring resorts, however Meribel alone offers a good range of ski terrain for all levels of skiers. There are ski runs as high as 3,300 metres, kilometres of groomed runs for cruising, or steep deep runs for the daring.
One of the prettiest of the alpine resorts, Meribel comprises low rise, chalet style buildings, with traditional architecture of stone or wood. Nightlife is plentiful, with a more relaxing, down-to-earth atmosphere than its neighbouring resorts. Pretty, traditional, excellent lift system and runs for everyone.

Known as the ‘Mecca’ of all ski resorts, Val d’Isere offers some of the best skiing in the Alps. Combined with the resort of nearby Tignes, the Val d’Isere region has 2 glaciers and over 300 kms of runs. So, from the nursery slopes to the high altitude glacier skiing, there are excellent groomed runs and an abundance of off piste skiing or snowboarding areas, that will please every level.
Val d’Isere is a traditional resort village, with old Alpine style buildings scattered around the town centre, including an 11th Century church. Don’t let the charm and tradition fool you – Val d’Isere has an exciting nightlife, that for many years has drawn the international set.
