The Canyons is one of the USAs five largest ski resorts with 3,650 acres of lift serviced terrain spread over 8 mountain peaks. Its located near Park City (host city of the 2002 Winter Olympics) and is only 32 miles from Salt Lake Airport, so is very easy to get to.

Once a silver mining town, Park Citys historical old houses have been converted into over 120 restaurants, bars and clubs, plus a variety of shops and art galleries. Park City has over 100 trails and an additional 650 acres of open powder bowl skiing. You can also pay a small surcharge for an interchangeable Liftpass to ski at Park City, Deer Valley, Snowbird, Solitude and The Canyons. The region hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics and was extensively upgraded.

The Powder Snow capital of North America, Snowbird receives an abundance of unbelievably light, dry, powder snow. Park City can also be skied as a day trip from Snowbird - your transport and extra Liftpass can easily be arranged in the resort.
