Coconuts is an award winning p[en decor beach resort, South Seas style under a thatched roof fale, located on a white sandy beach at Maninoa Village on the south coast of Upolu island. It caters to surfers who prefer a bit more upscale comfort,things like air conditioning and an excellent ala carte menu, and a swimming pool for spouses or traveling partners to enjoy. The atmosphere is laid back and the location is fantastic.

ACCOMMODATION

  • 3 garden suites, can accommodate 3-4 people comfortably
  • 8 Treehouse rooms with ocean views and jungle or treetop entrances, accommodating up to 3 per room
  • 1 and 2 Bedroom Beachfront Fales are situated on the white sand beach with tropical garden area for privacy for each fale
  • Royal Beach Villas, there are 3 villas accommodating up to 3 or 4 per villa. All the villas are connected by covered bridge and can be opened up to accommodate groups of up to 10
  • 2 x newly finished "Over-the- Water-Fales" THE ONLY OF ITS KIND IN SAMOA They have large open wooden patios for sunbathing spacious bathrooms, king size bed and long comfortable settees

SURFING

There are several great breaks within paddling distance of the hotel and more a shortboat ride away. Coconuts, a righthander directly in front of the hotel Catapult. a thick and mean right, Tafitoala, a popular left, Siumu, Boulders and a variety of secret spots. Coconuts arrange for surf guiding. Surf guides have their own boats and are experienced surfers themselves.

GETTING THERE

approx a 35 minute drive from Apia International airport, you will be met and transferred on arrival, compliments of the resort if purchasing a surfers package
